Duniya ke sitam yaad na apnee he wafaa yaad,
Ab mujhko nahi kuch bhi muhabbat ke siva yaad!
Main shikwa ba-lab tha mujhe yeh bhi na raha yaad,
Shaayad ke mere bhoolne-waale ne kiyaa yaad!
Kyaa jaaniye kyaa hogaya, arbaab-e-JunooN ko,
Jeene ki adaa yaad na marne ki adaa yaad!
Jab koi hasin hota hai sargarm-e-navazish,
Us waqt wo kuch aur bhi aate hain siva yaad!
Main tark-e-rah-o-rasm-e-junun kar hi chuka tha,
KyuuN aa gai aise mein teri lagazish-e-pa yaad!
Muddat huee ik hadesaa-e-ishq ko lekin,
Ab tak hai tere dil ke dhadakne ke sadaa yaad!
Kyaa lutf ki main apna pataa aap bataaun,
Keeje koi bhooli hui khaas apni adaa yaad!
*Haan haan tujhe kya kaam meri shiddat-e-gham se,
Haan haan nahi mujh ko tere daman ke hawa yaad!
The last shayr is not observed to be sung by Jigar saahab himself in the video clip shared above,but I found it being part of this ghazal in more than one place while researching it before sharing it here...!
