har khushi maiN koi kami si hai
hansti aankhoN maiN bhi nami si hai

din bhi chup chaap sar jhukaye tha
rat ki nabz bhi thami si hai

kis ko samjhayeN kis ki bat nahiN
zehn aur dil maiN phir thani si hai

khab tha ya ghubar tha koi
gard in palkoN pe jami si hai

hasrataiN rakh ho gayeeN lekin
aag ab bhi kahiN dabi si hai


Mohabbat ke baad mohabbat mumkin hai faraz.
Magar toot ke chahna sirf ek baar hota hai
