mujhse meraa dildaar nahii miltaa ab
haste haste kabhii do baat nahii kartaa ab

ab wo badii saadgi se rahtaa haii,
betakalluf si koii baat nahii kahtaa ab.

pahle aa jaata thaa yuunhi kisii bhaane se
main jo aawaaz lagaaun to nahii ruktaa ab.

maine jiske liye is ghar ko saja rakkha tha
wo haseeN shaksh yahaan aur nahii rahtaa ab.

jo bujhaa karte hain wo buzdil hain charaag,
ye meraa dil hai hawaaon se nahii Dartaa ab.
