mujhe aadat nahi ehsaan udhaar
rakhh ne ki............

hui shaam saare ehsaan wasool
jaata hu..........

na gaya kabhi ibadat k liye mandir
ya kaaba.........

jitne imaan-o-siddatt se har roz
"ya-rasool" jaata hu..........

mujh par padhta nahi mausam ka
asar koi..........

ho fasaad ka din wo ya waqt
maqool jaata hu..........

na lounga do jaam se jyada kabhi
bhi...........

rakh kar ye bulandh asool jaata
hu...........

jamti hai mehfil yaaro ki rangeen
har shaam..........

hoti jo peshqash teesre ki to
be-hichak qabool jaata hu..........

log kehte hain ki main aadmi aacha
hu magar
