ik motti jehi gelheri
makki di tokri tay
challanga langaadi
bhagdi jaandi hai
chun ik dum anhayriaan wichon
nikal aanda hai
tay main sochda haan
is jeevan ton chala jaana
bilkul mumkin nahin hai
har pal wakat da ik pahar hai.
ik chilli aasmaan day
baluut day perhan tay
khushiaan manaandi hai
chillandi hoee:
eho hi sub kujh hai
jo mainu chaahii da hai

Today I was Happy,
So I made This Poem
As the plump squirrel scampers
Across the roof of the corncrib,
The moon suddenly stands up in the darkness,
Each moment of time is a mountain.
An eagle rejoices in the oak trees of heaven,
Crying
This is what I wanted.
