har kadam imtehaan leti hai zindagi
muskuraane ki keemat mangti he zindagi
kabhi hasaati he toh kabhi rulaati hai
apna har pehlu dikha deti hai zindagi

...Kabhi bachpan kabhi jaawaani bankar
apna har haseen rang dikhati hai zindagi
har mod pe ek nayaa fasaana sunaati
insan ki qadr karna sikhajati hai zindagi

mukaddar ke naam pe fareb karti he ye
insaan ko khilona bana deti hai zindagi
takdeer ka tamasha dikhate dikhate Rafat
ek din khud mauth se haar jaati hai zindagi
