Jigar aur dil ko bachaanaa bhii hai
nazar aap hii se milaanaa bhii hai

muhabbat kaa har bhed paanaa bhii hai
magar apnaa daaman bachaanaa bhii hai

jo dil tere Gham kaa nishaanaa bhii hai
qateel-e-jafaa-e-zamaanaa bhii hai

ye bijlii chamaktii hai kyuN dam-ba-dam
chaman meN ko’ii aashiyaanaa bhii hai

Khirad kii ata’at zaruurii sahii
yahii to junuuN kaa zamaanaa bhii hai

ye duniyaa, ye aqbaa kahaaN jaaiye
kahiiN ahl-e-dil kaa thikaanaa bhii hai!

mujhe aaj saahil pe rone bhii do
ke tuufaan meN muskuraanaa bhii hai

zamaane se aage to baRhiye “Majaz"
zamaane ko aage baRhaanaa bhii hai
