My Season of Joy

Your eyes are the jewels
of Heaven, itself,
and your smile
an angels song.

Your love for me
is my truest wealth,
to none other
could my heart belong.

Your voice is the music
calming the beast
which rampaged
deep down inside.

The touch of your hand
allows my soul feast,
no desires
need it ever hide.

You are my Autumn,
my summer, my spring,
the laughter
of childhood recalled.

You'll forever
make my heart sing
till winter
at last comes to call.
