Bulleshah ka ek nayab kalaam pesh karne ki niyat se mehfile-mashahoor shayar ka rukh kiya hai. Mujhe Umm'eed hai ki aap bhi isse padh kar lutf uthayenge.
Neeche iska angrezi meiN tarzama karne ki koshish ki hai, kam-aql samjh galtiyoN ko bata dijiyega aur aapni kimati rae se iss chhoti si koshish ko nawazish kareN......

Na main momin vich masitaaN,
Na main vich kufr diyaN ritaN,
Na main pak aaN vich palitaNn
Na main musa na firaun.

Na vich paliti paki,
Na vich shadi, na ghamna ki,
Na main aabi na main khaaki,
Na main aatish na main paun.

Na main bhet mazab da paya,
Na main aadam hauwa jaya,
Na Kuch apna naam dharaya,
Na vich baithan na vich bhaun.

A'wal aakhar aap nu jaanaN,
Na koi duja aap pachhanaN,
MaithoN vadh na koi siyana.
Bul'lhiya auh khada hai kaun...?


English Translation

After attaining extreme selfless ness, Bulleshah talks to himself....

Bulleshah, I do not know who am I.....

I am not a believer musalman going to a masque,
I am not in found in ways of sin,
I am not chaste amongst the chaste,
Neither moses nor pharoah.

I am not a sinner or a saint,
I am neither in happiness nor in unhappiness,
Neither do I belong to water nor do I belong to land,
Neither am I fire nor air.

I do not know the secrets of religion,
I am not a progeny of adam and eve,
I did not get myself named,
I neither squat to pray nor have I gone astray.

I know just one and identify myself with that one,
I do not know anyone who is not like me,
Who can be wiser than me, who has attained selfless ness?
I do not even know who else is standing.
