Suraj ki roshni sa unka ye farman aya hai ,
Tauhfa pyar ka le kar ek mehman aya hai.

Aaj mere dil mein jagane ek arman aya hai,
Mere liye tau vo gulon ka gulistan aya hai.

Mere mehboob ka dekho pehla salam aya hai ,
Unke khat meiN mere liye ek paigam aya hai.

Meri zindagee pe ab unka ek ehsaan aya hai ,
Dil se mohabbat bhara ek pyara kalam aya hai .

Chand suraj ka bhi khat meiN naam aya hai ,
Tum bhi chamakte raho yuN ye payam aya hai.

Har jafa ke badle wafa ka vo inaam laya hai,
Hamdam "aaj dharti ko choone aasman aya hai.

Isee kashmeqash mein kat raha Zindagee ka safar.
