Merey ashaar dil ki tarjumaani hai
Yehi meri sadaaqat ki nishaani hai

Nahi alfaaz ke kuch keh saku yaaro
Badi pecheeda ye gham ki kahaani hai

Zara mohtaati se apna qadam rakhna
Bohat naazuk sanam daur-e-jawaani hai

Bharosa zindagi ka kuch nahi yaara
Kab aaye maut voh pal naaghaani hai

Agar ho zindagi mehroom khushiyo se
Ye bhi kya koee yaaro zindagaani hai

Zyada toh nahi par kuch toh dekha hai
Jo bhi dekha khuda ki mehrbaani hai

Hue barbaad kitney ishq mai humdum
Mujhe toh bakht lekin aazmaani hai

Har aafat ka na daalo zimma insaaN par
Kuch aandhi toh balaaiye aasmaani hai

Mujhey hasta hua dekha hai logo ne
Magar dil mai bohat se gham nihaani hai

Mujahid hai parastaar-e-mohammad hi
Magar dil se faqat hindustaani hai



FEW MEANINGS


Sadaaqat= honesty
Mohtaati= cautiously
Naaghaani= unpredictable/sudden
Bakht= fate/destiny
Nihaani= hidden
Parastaar-e-mohammad= follower of prophet Mohammad PBUH

Kya ishaara karey ye hawaaiye
Gaur se sun zara tu sadaaiye

Khushk pattey bhi kehte bohat kuch
Shabnami phool jo keh na paaiye
