On the eve of the end,
I pray we meet again,
O' Friend!
And I pray by then,
You would as I'd have finished
all our errands here.
So that you and I
can sit awhile,
catch a breathe,
look in each others eyes,
how our journey fared.
Smile and pat and kiss
each other, for awhile.
Before we the thirsty one
quench the almighty.
On the eve of the end,
I pray we meet again, O' Friend!!!

a brilliant craftsmanship with words, very nicely u have expressed ur views... but to be true i read ur signature and mind u, that is a classic, bahut hi umda signature hai aapka, umeed hai ki aane waale waqt meN aapse aur bhi umda qalamkaariyaaN dekhne ko milti raheNgi....

Sir your poem is an absolute gem ....but one line I cudn't understand was that one which sez " Quench the almighty".... if possible please elaborate so that we can add to our knowledge pool!

experssion Quench the almighty is derived from philosophy that We humans n the love we experience is the fuel to the Soul of Universe. so our love which exists for the purpose of the ALMIGHTY and his soul reaches its final attainment, narrator wants to spend the moment with his Beloved companion
