Khaali aasmaan main dhoondti hai nazar,
Ek chehera jisne kiya tha dil pe kuch asar.
Sitaaron ki jhil-milaati roshni main nahin,
Chand pe kahin woh baitha bhi nahin.
Hai intezaar to ek ajnabi ka mujhe,
Jo lagta hai apna, jo pyar karta hai mujhe.
