kitab khuli padi thi mere saamne
main soch raha tha uske baare mein
padte padte pata nahin kab
aa gayee vo mere khyalon mein

khyalon mein usse baatein karne laga
poochne laga usse uske baare mein
kahan hogi vi kaisi hogi vo
uljha pada tha inhi sawalon mein

chera mujhe uska dikhne laga
kitaab par bane chitra mein
acchi lag rahi thi vo
apne khule hue baalon mein

aisa hi ho raha hai
jab se usse mila hoon main
kab khatam hogi ye becheni
kab tak rahoonga aise haalon mein


एक हाथ में दिल उनके एक हाथ में खंजर था
चेहरे पे दोस्त का मुखौटा अजीब सा मंजर था
