In this world full of sorrows I wanted to feel warmth of sunshine That would, I thought, take away sorrows and miseries of mine I wandered here and there But nothing was worth a fare I had faith in whatever the world told All were lies, it was a shock, and that turned me cold Everything seemed as an oasis in a desert* [A barren land with sand all around] Nothing was worth keeping but to desert* [To leave or to abandon] I kept on keeping the pace But, remained last in the RACE.......
