umar ki dahleez pe jab kal ko dekhta hu,
waqt ko kitne rang badlte dekhta hu,

kabhi bebaki hoto pe chai rehti thi,
aaj seene main sare raaz jalte dekhta hu,

usse duri ka ehsaas fir or badhta hai,
jab aasmaa ke hath se taare fisalte dekhta hu,

be-fikri ka aalam jawa.N jawa.N rehta tha,
aaj har aahat pe khayal sambhalte dekhta hu,
