dard had se guzre tabhi dil shaad hota hai


thhare hue ashqon ki rangat na poochiye
har qatra hamesha taaza azaab hota hai


hai to asaan apni aakhon ko nam rakhna
par khud se hi kia vaada kharaab hota hai


dard ke kum ya zyada ki tamanna kaun kare 'kaash'
ye vo shay hai jo khud-b-khud aabaad hota hai
