Race of Life

[Hamdam]

Everybody is running because life is a race,
we all are running at different pace,
Only winners receive applause and praise,
while loosers stand back with a sad face.

People toil hard for some reward,
with sole mission to rise upward,
Tied in their hope and expectations ,
everybody is surging towards its destination.

In this raace you get both friends and foes,
Only some will encourage you while many will add to your woes,
People seldom tolerate each other and there is clash of egoes,
Resulting in lots of unhappiness misery and sorrows.

Life a marathon needs to be run with caution,
Because here each step should be in right direction,
Destination is seldom achieved whatever is the pace,
Winner or looser you should play with grace....
