વેલેન્ટાઇન ડેની શરુઆત ગુજરાતમાં થઇ હતી!
વેલેન્ટાઇન ડેની શરુઆત ભારતમાં થઇ હતી, અને તે પણ ગુજરાતમાં. આ બહુ ઓછા લોકો ને ખબર છે. એવી ધારણા છે કે, ગુજરાતી પુરુષો, ખાસ કરીને પટેલ તેમની પત્ની એટલે ક પટલાણીઓને, માન નહોતા આપતા. એક દિવસ, (૧૪ મી ફેબ્રુઆરી) એક બહાદુર પટલાણી જે ખુબજ દુઃખ સહન કરી ચુકી હતી, તેણે બદલો લેવાનું નક્કી કર્યુ, અને તેના પતિ એટલે કે પટેલને Velan (વેલણ) વડે ઝુડી નાખ્યો, એ જ Velan(વેલણ) કે જેનાથી તે તેના પતિ માટે રોજ રોટલી બનાવતી હતી. અને આ વખતે લોટની જગ્યાએ તેનો પતિ હાથમાં આવી ગયો. આ ગુજરાતી સ્ત્રી માટે ખુબ મહત્વનો અવસર હતો અને આ વિદ્રોહ આગની જેમ બધે ફેલાવા લાગ્યો, અને બધા ઘરની સ્ત્રીઓ એ તેમના પતિ કે જે તેમની હેરાન કરતા હતા, તેમને Velan (વેલણ) વડે ઝુડી નાખ્યા. અને પટેલને બોઘપાઠ મળ્યો કે, તેમની પટલાણીની સાથે સારું વર્તન કરે. દર વર્ષે આ દિવસે, ગુજરાતી સ્ત્રીઓ આ દિવસની યાદમાં તેમના પતિને એક વેલણ મારે છે અને પતિદેવ વેલણ ખાઇ લે છે, અને તેમની પત્નીઓને ખુશ કરે છે. તમે જાણો જ છો કે ગુજરાત પશ્ચિમી સંસ્ક્રુતિને વધારે જલ્દી અપનાવે છે, માટે આ દિવસને "Velan Time (વેલણ ટાઇમ)" દિવસ તરીકે ઓળખાયો. અને આ ધાર્મિક દિવસ જલ્દી જ બ્રિટન, અમેરીકા અને બીજી વેસ્ટર્ન કંન્ટ્રીમાં ફેલાઇ ગયો. અને "(Velan Time (વેલણ ટાઇમ)" શબ્દ પકડી લીધો. સ્વાભાવિક રીતે, વિદેશીઓની બોલવાની છટાને લીધે, તે "(Velan Time (વેલણ ટાઇમ)"ની જગ્યાએ "Velantine" થઇ ગયું અને ત્યારથી ૧૪મી ફેબ્રુઆરીને "Velantine Day" તરીકે ઓળખવામાં આવે છે. Areeeeee ye kya ho raha hai yahaan .. Valentine .. aur Belentine .. nahi hai ...ye post hai Valentine .. au Belan Time ki ...
Ji Belanaa .. wo hota hai jis se Roti beli jaati hai ...hehehehhehe & According to the post .. 14th Feb ke din Gujarat mai ..saari patniyaa apne pation ko Belane se ek baar to zaroor maarati hai ....  To Jin jin mahaa purusho ne ..apni apni patniyon ke haatho Belanaa khaaya ho 14th Feb ...Gujarat mai ya kahi bhi kisi bhi state yaa desh mai  ... wo janaab yahaan Haajari lagaaye pleasseeee .. Bahot confusion hai .. ki Belan Time ...Valentine kaise ho gayaa ???
