phir bhii dil me.n nahii.n rahe hai.n

ulfat me.n jo mile hame.n, vo
KHa.njar-dar-aastii.n1 rahe hai.n

parde me.n hai.n, araq2 araq phir
kyu.n jism-e-naaznii.n3 rahe hai.n

aalam hai husn kaa nazar me.n
par sajde me.n jabii.n rahe hai.n

hum hai.n mojiz-bayaa.n4, mukhaatib5
phir bhii unke hamii.n rahe hai.n

gham-bhar ke marhale6 hai.n phir bhii
vo itne kyu.n hasii.n rahe hai.n

bhaagoge ab safiir kitnaa
marg-o-hastii7 yahii.n rahe hai.n

हम उनके दिलनशीं रहे हैं
फिर भी दिल में नहीं रहे हैं

उल्फत में जो मिले हमें, वो
खंजर-दर-आस्तीं1 रहे हैं

परदे में हैं, अरक़2 अरक़ फिर
क्यों जिसमे-नाज़नीं3 रहे हैं

आलम है हुस्न का नज़र में
पर सजदे में जबीं रहे हैं

हम हैं मोजिज़बयां4, मुख़ातिब5
फिर भी उनके हमीं रहे हैं

ग़मभर के मरहले6 हैं फिर भी
वो इतने क्यों हसीं रहे हैं

भागोगे अब सफ़ीर कितना
मर्गो हस्ती7 यहीं रहे हैं

1 dagger in the sleeve (कमीज़ की बांह में [छुपाया हुआ] खंजर / बगल में छुरा)
2 sweat (पसीना पसीना)
3 Delicate body of beloved (माशूक़ का नाज़ुक बदन)
4 unable to describe (वर्णन न कर पाना)
5 to address (परिचय देना / परिचय देनेवाला)
6 stages (अवस्था / चरण / पड़ाव / स्थिति)
7 death & life (मौत और ज़िंदगी)


ख़ुदा परेशां तेरी बला से तेरे सितम से तेरे अधम से
अगर हसीँ होते ज़ुल्म तेरे तू भी तो कुछ शर्मसार होता

Bohut khoob adeil ji.

iss ghazal ne anayaas hi 'kuch iss tarah se aaj wo pehlu nashii rahe' ki yaad dila di.

Woh bhi behad khubsurat ghazal hai aur iss ghazal ko bhi aapne bohut khubsoorati se present kiya hai.

Bohut bohut mubarak baad.

Aate rahiye. Likhte rahiye.
