Tanhai mein ajeeb zamaney ki wafa dekhta raha
Umer bhar apna ghar tanha dekhta raha

Kahin na kahin to badal hi jatay hain silsilay
Magar main jahan gaya sehra dekhta raha

Jane kyun qatratay hain log mujhe milne say
Kal shab dair talak aaina dekhta raha

Pani mangte magte meray honth pathar ho gaye
Woh shaks mashkiza liye khara dekhta raha

Be-gunah tha phir bhi sir jhukaye hue
Sitam-gar ki sitam ki inteha dekhta raha

Umar bhar mohabbat ka kuch youn silsila raha
Main usay or woh duniya dekhta raha

Kahon ga KHUDA se youm-e-hisaab ko MOHSIN
Ke zamana meri barbadi ka tamasha dekhta raha
