ਇਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਹ ਸਾਊ ਜਿਹੀ ਕੁੜੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਤੇ ਉਪਹਾਰ ਦੇਣ ਸਮੇ ਇਹ ਸਤਰਾ ਲਿਖੀਆ ਸਨ

ਉਪਹਾਰ ਮੈ ਤੈਨੁ ਕਈ ਦੇਵਾ
ਨਾਜੁਕ ਦਿਲ ਵਾਗ ਤੇ ਕਚ ਜਿਹਾ

ਤੇਰੇ ਸ਼ੀਸ਼ੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੇ ਵਾਗ ਹੋਵੇ
ਤੇ ਪਾਕ ਹੋਵੇ ਓਹ ਸਚ ਜਿਹਾ

ਤੁ ਸਹਿਜ ਸਰ੍ਲ ਤੇ ਭੋਲੀ ਜਿਹੀ
ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਅਪ੍ਨਾਓਣ ਨੁ ਜੀ ਕਰ੍ਦਾ

ਜਿਸ ਰਬ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੁ ਰੁਹ ਵਖ੍ਸ਼ੀ
ਓਹ੍ਦ ਸਜ੍ਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਨੁ ਜੀ ਕਰ੍ਦਾ

ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਤੋਲਾ ਤਾ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੇ
ਕੀ ਮੈ ਦੇਵਾ ਉਪਹਾਰ ਸਖੀ

ਤੇਰੇ ਵਰ੍ਗਾ ਅਨ੍ਮੋਲ ਨਾ ਕੁਝ ਮਿਲਿਆ
ਬਸ ਪਿਆਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਖੀ

ਕਰ੍ਦੀ ਹਾ ਦੁਆ ਉਸ ਰਬ੍ ਕੋਲੋ
ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆ ਕਦਮਾ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਣ ਤੇਰੇ

ਸਾਨੁ ਸਭ੍ਨਾ ਨੁ ਤੁ ਭੁਲ ਜਾਵੇ
ਓਸ ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਔਨਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਮਿਲੇ

ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਰਾਜ ਤਾ ਕੋਇ ਵਿ ਕਰ ਲੈਦਾ
ਤੁ ਦਿਲਾ ਤੇ ਸਬ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰੇ

uphaar main tenu ki deva
najuk dil wang te kach jeha

tere shishe dil de wang hove
te paak hove oh sach jeha

tu saral sahij te bholi jehi
tere gun apnoun nu ji krda

jis rabb ne tainu ruh vakhshi
ohda sajda karan nu ji karda

tere naal tolan ta kuj na mile
ki main dewan uphaar sakhi

tere verga anmol na kuj milia
bus piyar mera tere naal sakhi

kardi ha dua us rabb kolo
khushian kadman vich hon tere

sanu sabna nu tu bhull jaawen
us ghar vich ainna piyar mile

ghar vich raaj ta her koi kar laind
tu dil te sab de raaj kare n

ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਇਖਲਾਕ ਦੇ ਤਕਾਜ਼ੇ
ਸਭ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੀਮਾ ਹਰ ਸਾਕ ਦੇ ਤਕਾਜ਼ੇ
ਰੁਕਦਾ ਨ ਖੂਨ ਇਹ ਨੇ ਦਿਲ ਚਾਕ ਦੇ ਤਕਾਜ਼ੇ
ਕੀ ਰੱਤ ਦੇ ਪੁਤਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਜਿਉਣਾ

ਬੇਦਾਗ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਬੱਸ ਦਾਗਦਾਰ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ
ਉਹ ਲਿਸ਼ਕਦੇ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੀਸ਼ੇ ਮੈਲੀ ਨੁਹਾਰ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਮਾਰੋ, ਕਿੰਨਾ ਕਠਿਨ ਹੈ ਯਾਰੋਂ,
ਏਨੇ ਖੁਦਾਵਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਜਿਉਣਾ
