Khilkhila k tera yun hansna aur mujhe bhi apne sath hasana !
Baaton baaton mein mera ruth jana aur tera manana, mujhe yaad hain !
Chand se bhi pyara kyun lagta tha mujhe chehra tera ?
Usi baat pe, roz Chand se mera ladna mujhe yaad hain !

Tera woh maasom sa bholapan aur teri saadgi,
Teri woh nazar aur teri woh shararatein, mujhe yaad hain
Pariyon se bhi pyari kyun lagti thi tu mujhe ?
Usi baat ko, roz dosto ko na samjha pana, mujhe yaad hain !

Mera chhup chhup k tujhe dekhna aur fir se chhup jana,
Tera us qadar, raaston mein kuch sochna aur fir sharmana, mujhe yaad hain !
Kai Safar tai kiye milon tak bin bataye tere saath maine,
Un kisso ko, tujhse is qadar chhupana mujhe yaad hain !

Tere liye lakhon duayein aur khushiyan maangna,
Woh tera zikr aur teri fikr karna, mujhe yaad hain !
Puchha karte the sab mujhse, Kaun hain woh ? kahan rehti hain ?
Tu ek pari hain, yeh raaz, mera kisi ko na batana, mujhe yaad hain !

Tu Roshni thi meri, Suraj se bhi tez tera noor, main andhera,
Meri duniya tu aur teri Duniya koi aur ho jana, mujhe yaad hain
Kuch kahaniyo ko yun hi puri nahi kar deta is janm mein Khuda
Kisine kaha tha,
“In janmo se pare Khuda ne ‘dilse’ likhi hain teri kahani”, mujhe yaad hain !
