Dear Mukhra - I understand that this is a site for Urdu literature. As such one should expect that every body reads Urdu. Masdood Rasta is a short story and should be read in originial Urdu script. Sorry for not being able to translate it into English.

its okay, but fazli ji, this is not a site for just urdu literature, it is a site for shayri written in english, hindi, urdu etc. too. then could you please tell me the summary of the story? i used to know how to read and write urdu, and then, i came to u.s.a so i forgot...sorry

Dear Mukhra - You know it is not a very good idea to give a jist of a story. The story must be read in its entirety. I have another proposal. I could broad-cast the story and everybody could hear it. If you visit the following site and down-load their "JetAudio 6.1.6 Basic" which is free and install it on your computer, you can hear my broadcast. Let me know when you are ready. The broadcast you can receive with this programme free of charge. Perhaps you could next time read your story for me on Internet Radio.
