Hum aap qayaamat se guzar kyuN nahi jaate
Jine ki shikaayat hai to mar kyuN nahi jaate

Katraate haiN balkhaate haiN ghabraate haiN kyuN log
Sardii hai to paanii meiN utar kyuN nahi jaate

AaNkhoN meiN chamak hai to nazar kyuN nahii aati
PalkoN pe guhar haiN to bikhar kyuN nahi jaate

Ye baat abhi mujhko bhi maloom nahi hai
PATTHAR IDHAR AATE HAIN UDHAR KYUN NAHI JAATE

teri hi tarah ab ye tere hijr ke din bhi
jaate nazar aate haiN magar kyuN nahi jaate

Ab yaad kabhi aaye to aaine se poocho
Mahboob khizaaN shaam ko ghar kyuN jaate
