Aaj mai fir ek bar mar gaya
na jane kitni baar
aur
marta rahuangaa,
alag-alag rupo me
har baar
alag-alag tareeko se
waqt ki bisaat par chal bankar
kisi na kisi ke haatho
marta hi raha hu,
aaj tak kabhi bach
na paya mai
apni mout se
jo har pal mere hi aas-pas
rahti hai,
zindagee isi hawa ke sath
bahti hai,
jis me mout ki aahat chupi
rahti hai.
