tanhaa Chup Chup Ke roya Kar

ye hi iratiqaa hai zamaane me.n
kuchh pane keliye kuchh khoya kar

taab-e-naakami ko hathiyar banaa
dil mein, housle ki beej boya kar

shab-e-khamosh ko zubaan de koi
chand ke pahaluu mein soya kar

khusaal zindagi jeene ke vaaste
jazbaa, naye naye sanjoya kar



iratiqaa=progressive

taab-e-naakaamii=the strength to bear failure
jazbaa=emotion

:-ek bujhaa hua dhumil

palak jhapakte hi jo aankh se hu'aa ojhal
woh lauT kar nahiiN aayaa gaye dinoN ki taraH
