hawaa keh saath neend karvateh badaltee hain
dil keh koneh mein dabee aarzoo sishaktee hain

sukhe patoh keh beech dhoondhtee hain khusboo woh
phool toh sukh gayeh, woh kahaan samajhtee hain

mann keh dehleejh peh rakhker chiraag yaadoh keh
khat mera woh chupke seh andhere mein roz padhtee hain

woh koi sokh haseena nahee hain per yuhin
kabhi- kabhi udashiyoh keh beech woh hashtee rehetee hain

yeh abhi kaun sha mausam jaghaa gayaa unkoh
gulab kee khushboo seh woh mehaktee hain

dard seh ishq ladaaneh kee "akeel" usheh aadat hain
gham keh sehera mein udtee huwee titliya woh pakadtee hain
