Ghazal bahana karoon aur gungunaao.n usse

Woh khaar khaar hain, shaakh-e-gulaab ki manind
Main zakhm zakhm hoon, fhir bhi gale' lagaoon usse

Yeh log taskire' karte hain apne logon ke
Main kaise baat karoon, aur kahan se laoon usse

Jo humsafar sar-e-manzil bichhad raha hai 'Faraz'
ajab nahi hai agar yaad bhi na aao.n usse
