Hume to adat hai muskrane ki
Yunhi kabhi muskrat lete hain

Jab udasi hume gher leti hai
Apne ashk hum chupa lete hain

Ek lamha jo khawab ki tarah aaya
Koi pooche to fasana bata dete hain

Dil gum ho jata hai tanha syah raton main
Jo pooche to tanhaiyon ka pata dete hain.
