Phoolon ki muhabbat bhii bahot dilnasheen hai,
KaaNton se zakham khaa ke unhii pe yaqeen hai.

Kuch yooN milii hain mujhko faqeeron se sakhawat,
Sar pe hai aasmaaN to kadam pe zameen hai.

Khaali paDaa hai ghar miraa muddat se tere bin,
Go aaj bhii lagtaa hai ke wo hii makeeen hai.

Kyon uske baad mar gaeeN sab chaahaten merii,
kyaa is jahaan bhar me wahi shay haseen hai.

Laaen kahaan se ishq ke andaaz puraane,
Allah ka yahi shukr ghazal behtareen hai.

Jo jaa chukaa hai shaad tujhe chhoR ke tanhaa,
Ik din wo lauT aaegaa mujhko yaqeen hai.
