Chalo aaj hum dono muskuraayen
tum humen bhool jaao,hum tumhe bhool jaayen

na tum ashq bahaao na hum ashq bahaayen
ye zahar hum piyen na ke pilaayen

shor-o-gul ki iss duniya mein e 'neer'
khaamosh reh kar bhi khayaal na aayen

intihaa muflisi ki mujh mein dekho tum
tishna labon ki pyaas mere ashq hi bujhaayen

udaas rehne ki aadat na ghazalon mein kaho 'neer'
maasoom dilon se kyon hansee churaayen

kyonkar wo khush hai bhool kar humen
chalo yaad aayen,chalo yaad aayen

aaiina hoon apne hi maazi ka main
gunaah-o-sazaayen sab meri aankhen bataayen

royenge dil-e-muntezir,tootenge dil-e-be-aas
unn pe kya asar ,wo aayen na aayen

acha likha aapne pankaj ji,yeh sher ache lage,

Chalo aaj hum dono muskuraayen

na tum ashq bahaao na hum ashq bahaayen
ye zahar hum piyen na ke pilaayen

kaash ke bhooljana kisi ko itna asaan hota.
likhte rahiye.

yun bin bulaaye milne chala aata hai,
gham ko mujh se yeh unsiyat kaisi??

yaad karake aur bhii takaliif hotii thii "Adeem"
