You have arrived to me after a long trip
and I was so exhausted for mine,
which had left me without any breath.
Our feet have crossed different paths
but so common in their tortuosity.

We were lost in unknown places,
in arid deserts, amidst empty lands…
and from that void our voice reached
from far away...so very far away.

Holding each other by hands with words
we have encouraged ourselves
to continue in our solitary walk
in that wandering about without end.

In the nights they always kindled
a tear in the darkness to enable us
to stretch out a longing hand
and feel that each was waiting for the other

The words became alive,
they travelled through the heart,
among the streets of the mind…
they flew, they arrived,
they departed and they breathed.

You called me and I felt you…
You looked for me and I reached you…
Nothing could have been able to prevent us
from meeting at the crossroad of our destiny.
