vo ek rańg mukammal ho jis se terā vajūd
vo rańg ham tire ḳhāke meń bharne aa.e haiń

ThiThur na jaa.eń ham is ijz kī bulandī par
ham apnī sat.h se nīche utarne aa.e haiń

ye buuńd ḳhuun kī lauh-e-kitāb-e-ruḳh ke liye
ye til sar-e-lab-o-ruḳhsār dharne aa.e haiń

lagā rahe haiń abhī ḳheme ġham kī vaadī meń
ham is pahāḌ se dāman ko bharne aa.e haiń

tire laboń ko milī hai shaguftagī gul kī
hamārī aańkh ke hisse meń jharne aa.e haiń

'nisār' band-e-qabā kholnā muhāl na thā
so ham jamāl-e-qabā band karne aa.e haiń
