Hi everyone,
Today I want to share something with all of U. my last mail to the only online friend of mine. I never met her personally but she came so close to me that after she's gone i just can't forget her. Anyways here's what i wrote her. And as always your comments r most greeted...

Where should I start
What should I say
Let me recollect my thoughts
About our first meeting and that day…

Everything was pretty normal
Except that we met
As we started talking
To know each other we sat...

That was a lucky day
As I found a new friend
We decided to continue it
And create new trend...

Things quite worked for us
Soon we became good friends
Eager to see each other
Sitting together at different ends…

I never thought of
Meeting someone this way
A person I never saw
Who lives far away…

You came apparently
As brightness in my life
So I proposed you
One day to be my wife...

But u declined to say yes
As it was a tough pick
A matter of whole life…
That no one can trick…

So what happened
If my dreams never came true
No one should feel guilty
And no one would rue…

You turned me down
But I didn’t lose my faith
As I always believe
Love is eternally great…

No matter what
We will always be friends
Friends forever…
As nothing can take us apart

But I don’t deny one thing
That u’ll always be in my heart…

Really good job man. Believe me if I was in her place, I would've never left you alone. and after reading this I can't think of one good reason why someone would do that. Maybe it wasn't in your destiny. Cheer up and everything will be fine.

same story of mine........... but my friend life has to go on. we can't spoil our life for a girl who doesn't care for us. whenever i read this kind of poetry/stories my heart sinks..........it hurts. try to forget everything and start a new life . best of luck.

I appreciate whatever u said. Mehul U have a point. But u r also doing the same i guess. which i felt after reading all your poems. But i will still try to do what u told me.
Vedika, Love only needs love in return. No luxuries of life can replace it. so I didn't ask for much.
Anyways all that is over for me. Take care all of you...

Hi Jeet

I understand the sentiments of your poem but i dont agree with you for that being a reason to stop writing here. love is giving not expecting anything in return. she must have had her reasons for refusing you. We always tend to think in terms of our own feelings and never from the other person's point of view. I also agree with u that its not easy forgetting someone bt u can change all the sadness by reliving ll the happy memories. Life is only as tragic as we make it. I hope you see you write more often here. take care

absolutely right Mehul,
We can control our thoughts but not feelings and no matter how hard we try we can't stop thinking about it. anyways I m keeping myself busy with work and I m doing pretty good. thnx for the reply...
